Severe Drought in the Region: Brombachsee is Being Drained

10 cubic meters per second - that's how much water has been pumped out of the Brombachsee since this afternoon. That's equivalent to 66 bathtubs - even though the water level is 2 meters lower than usual. This may seem paradoxical at first glance. However, Helga Pfitzinger-Schiele, the deputy head of the Ansbach Water Management Office, knows the reason.
