Bavarian Local Elections: Deadlines for Postal Voting Shortened

After the failure of the traffic light coalition, the federal elections in 2025 had to take place much earlier - accordingly, the deadlines for postal voting were also shorter. The date for the Bavarian local elections, March 8, 2026, has been fixed since June 2024. Nevertheless, the Bavarian state government has now also shortened the postal voting deadlines for this.
