The renovation of the Hangman's Bridge in Nuremberg is delayed by about four weeks. According to the Public Space Service, two planned work steps cannot be carried out in parallel for static reasons. The scaffolding of the wooden bridge must first be completely removed before the new pressure drainage pipe can be connected. The work is expected to start in mid-November after the Pegnitz has been temporarily lowered. The Hangman's Bridge is expected to be reopened in time for the Christkindlesmarkt. The final work on the road surface at Unschlittplatz is expected to continue until mid-December.
