A recent study identified the airlines with the worst customer satisfaction worldwide and placed American Airlines at the top of the list. Click Intelligence analyzed several major international airlines to find out which airlines customers were most dissatisfied with. The Airline Dissatisfaction Index of the study considered four quality indicators: passenger experience ratings, assessments from the airline review portal Skytrax, and complaint volume. Taking safety records into account, the study rated the airlines on a scale of 0 to 100, with a higher score indicating greater passenger dissatisfaction. The low-cost airline Frontier Airlines followed American Airlines as the second lowest in terms of customer satisfaction worldwide, with a dissatisfaction index of 55. Of all the airlines analyzed, Frontier had the lowest passenger experience rating (2 out of 10) and five notable incidents. United Airlines, which received three stars from Skytrax and only scored 3.3 out of 10 for passenger experience, took third place. Outside the USA, Air France ranked fourth overall, with 11 significant incidents related to safety and flight operations and a dissatisfaction index of 53 points.
