How to Recognize Early Signs of Lung Cancer

Quelle: VIDEOELEPHANT (Glomex)

Lung cancer, like most cancers, arises from uncontrolled cell growth and leads to the formation of tumors. Although smoking is the main cause, there are other possible triggers, such as genetic factors or exposure to asbestos. Here are five early signs of lung cancer that you should not ignore: If you experience shortness of breath during activities you could previously handle easily, this could be a sign of lung cancer. Lung cancer can cause bleeding in the airways, leading to coughing up blood; even slight traces in the mucus can be cause for concern. Persistent fatigue that does not improve despite rest, or an unusual feeling of exhaustion after everyday activities, can be another possible sign of lung cancer. If you are losing weight unintentionally, even though you have not changed your eating habits or activity level, this could indicate an underlying health issue – including lung cancer. A significantly reduced appetite or a noticeable decrease in your appetite could also be an early warning sign of lung cancer.
