New section of the A26 released: Freeway now passable from Hamburg to Stade

A new section of the Autobahn 26 was opened on Friday. It is now passable from the Hamburg state border to Stade (Lower Saxony). It took many years from the idea to implementation. The first planning contract for the A26 was awarded as early as 1970, but the highway is still not completely finished.
