A man offered a police officer a vodka spritzer during a chase. Richard Christopher Smith pursued the police after allegedly committing a theft at the Spring Lake Market in Sebring. He was subdued at the scene with a stun gun and now faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence and resisting arrest.
