The AfD has accused Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) of "electoral fraud" at the meeting of their parliamentary group. The parliamentary group leaders Alice Weidel and Tino Chrupalla in Berlin demanded, among other things, the coalition's commitment between the Union and the SPD to reduce the electricity tax for all consumers.
