Kind shopkeeper secretly pays elderly woman's groceries for four years

A shopkeeper in Jiangxi, China, has quietly paid for part of an elderly woman's groceries for four years without her ever noticing. Security footage from 2021 to 2025 shows Chen Hui pretending to scan all of her items, while only charging her for a portion. Chen said he wanted to help the woman without embarrassing her, and shared the story online to inspire others to support vulnerable seniors.
