This judgment could have changed the sports world: Paralyzed ice hockey pro withdraws lawsuit

On this judgment, the sports world has been eagerly waiting - but it will never happen. Former ice hockey pro Mike Glemser (including Starbulls Rosenheim) has been paralyzed since February 2023 due to a check into the boards. To pay the costs since the accident, he sued his former opponent Jan-Niklas Pietsch (then Riessersee, now Bayreuth). According to his own statements, Glemser wanted Pietsch to activate his liability insurance. The total value of the claim was over 800,000 euros. But there will be no judgment now.
