A group of divers took on a bizarre challenge off the island of Iejima near Okinawa, Japan, in mid-October — jumping rope underwater while fully upside down. Battling the resistance of the water, the team needed big, exaggerated movements and tight coordination to keep the rope spinning. The attempt came to an abrupt end.
