You go for a leisurely stroll, the beautiful spring weather literally invites you to do so. Enjoy the green grass and see the Kalscheurer Weiher in the distance. We are in Cologne's green belt, this almost endless network of parks around the city. Konrad Adenauer came up with the idea, and the people of Cologne still benefit from the existence of this attractive recreational area today. Many people visit the green belt frequently, so it's no wonder that they notice something that has suddenly changed. And these days there really is something new to see: A huge wooden board on stilts. Depicted as branded elements, you can recognize an animal. At least you think you recognize it. Because it could perhaps be an advertisement. But what is it advertising in the middle of a recreational area? And is that even allowed? KiVVON asked the experts at the responsible press office in Cologne City Hall to find out more about the purpose of this strange construction. We reveal it in the video!
