According to the biography "Love Freddie", dedicated to the historic frontman of Queen, Freddie Mercury has a daughter who has been kept secret until now. The woman, who has remained anonymous and lives in Europe, claims that her father "always adored her" and that she always knew that Freddie Mercury was her father. The details of their relationship are revealed in the book by Lesley-Ann Jones, which will be released in September in the United Kingdom, where the author reports on the conversation with the woman. All that is known about her is that her initials are B. and that she works in healthcare in an unspecified country in Europe. "Freddie Mercury was and is my father, he and I had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born, and during the last 15 years of his life. He adored me. Of course, I came into the world under special circumstances, but he never stopped loving me. He protected me as if I were a treasure". With these words, the woman may have hinted that she was 15 years old when Freddie died in 1991 from AIDS complications, at the age of 45. Freddie bequeathed his 17 personal diaries to his daughter, containing secrets and his most intimate and personal thoughts. The author of the book told the Daily Mail that she initially did not believe the woman. Later, however, she realized that she was not lying and that she is indeed Freddie's daughter. The woman would have been conceived with the wife of one of Freddie Mercury's closest friends and always had a place in the frontman's house and with his parents.
