The former stylist of Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Deonte Nash, testified that the music mogul once beat his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura so severely that she had to be stitched on the forehead. Nash, who worked closely with both Combs and Ventura, stated that he witnessed several abuses. He also claimed that Combs threatened to release explicit videos of Ventura from drug-fueled encounters with male sex workers. The testimony came as Ventura gave birth to her third child with her husband Alex Fine. Combs, 55, pleaded 'not guilty' to charges of extortion and sex trafficking. Nash described an incident where Combs allegedly broke into Ventura's L.A. apartment, dragged her by the hair, and hit her until she hit her head on a bed frame. Nash and an assistant, 'Mia,' tried to intervene. Ventura was later seen with stitches, Nash said. He also testified that Ventura told him she did not want to participate in Combs' organized sex parties. He also insisted that Ventura be addressed by her married name, Mrs. Fine, during cross-examination. Other witnesses included a police officer and a fire department arson investigator who discussed the arson attack on rapper Kid Cudi's car in 2012. The arson investigator testified that the evidence for the incident was destroyed without his consent. When the prosecution asked if this was unusual, Combs' legal team moved for a mistrial. This motion was denied, but the judge instructed the jurors not to consider this line of questioning. Nash is expected to continue his testimony, followed by former assistant 'Mia,' who will testify in the next two days.
