Blake Lively will subpoena Scooter Braun and his K-Pop company HYBE to obtain documents related to PR manager Melissa Nathan's work for 'Just One Last Time' director Justin Baldoni. Nathan, a co-defendant in Lively's lawsuit against Baldoni, is alleged to have helped orchestrate a smear campaign against Lively in 2023. The subpoena aims to obtain any relevant material HYBE America has regarding Nathan's involvement. The notice was sent on June 10, as reported by Deadline. This legal move follows a judge dismissing Baldoni's $400 million countersuit against Lively, Ryan Reynolds, publicist Leslie Sloane, and The New York Times. Lively's attorneys hailed it as a 'total victory and complete vindication,' accusing Baldoni's team of 'abusive litigation.' Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, called Lively's 'predictable victory declaration' false and said on TMZ Live that the ruling was 'not fair' or 'right.' Braun also has a history of legal tensions with Taylor Swift, a longtime friend of Lively, over ownership rights to her music recordings. Swift has already been subpoenaed in this case, but Baldoni withdrew that request last month without explanation.
