A Taylor Swift Eras Tour documentary series and a concert film are officially releasing on December 12 on Disney Plus, confirming long-standing fan rumors. The six-part docuseries titled "Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour - The End of an Era" offers an "intimate look into Taylor's life" during the tour. It features friends, family, and artists like Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch. New episodes will be released over a period of three weeks. On the same day, the concert film "The Final Show" will also premiere. It showcases the tour finale in Vancouver on December 8, 2023, at BC Place Stadium. The Vancouver concert included 45 songs and marked the grand finale of Swift's nearly two-year-long Eras Tour, which grossed over $2 billion worldwide. "It was the end of an era, and we knew it," Swift wrote in a social media post announcing the projects. She added, "We wanted to cherish every moment in memory [...] that's why we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories associated with it." The docuseries "The End of an Era" was directed by Don Argott, with co-direction by Sheena M. Joyce. The concert film "The Final Show" was directed by Glenn Weiss.
