Alec and Stephen Baldwin after car accident "safe and unharmed"

The actors Alec and Stephen Baldwin were involved in a car accident in East Hampton, New York. No one was injured, and both brothers have confirmed that they are doing well. Photos showed the Baldwins walking away from a damaged Range Rover. Alec later shared a video on Instagram confirming that he was driving his wife Hilaria's vehicle. "This morning I had a car accident," said Alec. "The guy cut me off in a big garbage truck - I mean, a garbage truck as big as a whale. To avoid him, I hit a tree." He added, "I crashed into a fat tree and wrecked my car - my wife's car," and said he feels "bad" about it. Alec thanked the local police and confirmed that he and his brother are "fine" before making a joking hand gesture and saying he now wants to drive to California to be with his wife and kids. A spokesperson for Stephen told Rolling Stone, "Stephen is fine and grateful that no one was hurt [...] he and Alec are both safe and sound." Days before the accident, the brothers had attended the Hamptons International Film Festival to promote Stephen's podcast "One Bad Movie."
