A scandal broke out at the national track and field championships in France over the weekend. An athlete was attacked before the men's 400m hurdles final in Caen. The hurdler Wilfried Happio was attacked by an unknown person while warming up and injured his face. The unknown attacker was overpowered by Wilfried Happios' trainer.
