Biathlete Vanessa Hinz ends her active career with immediate effect. This was announced by the German Ski Association (DSV) on Saturday four days before the start of the home World Championships in Oberhof. "It was already clear to me in the summer that I was going into my last season," the 31-year-old was quoted as saying in the statement.
