Often they are the central theme in disaster movies, like Twister or Storm Hunters. Tornados. However, residents of Lake Constance did not have to go to the cinema exactly two weeks ago to see a tornado. Because a tornado formed over water in front of Friedrichshafen, also called a waterspout, and moved all the way to Lindau once across the second largest Alpine lake in Europe. How did this happen, how does a community deal with it, and do we have to expect more of such weather conditions in the future? We asked.
