Special Exhibition at the Ansbach Residence

After five years of restoration, the Carlone Hall of the Ansbach Residence shines again in full splendor. A new special exhibition shows how the baroque masterpiece was restored – with guided tours, workshops, and special events. From July 1 to October 4, 2026, the Bavarian Palace Administration dedicates a special exhibition to the restored banquet hall. Titled "How the Sky Came to the Ceiling," everything revolves around the restoration of the masterpiece by Carlo and Diego Carlone. The exhibition is complemented by guided tours, lectures, and workshops. Interactive stations allow you to experience the banquet hall with all your senses.
