Mercedes-Benz Vans is a pioneer and leading manufacturer in the field of electric vans. To date, well over 25,000 all-electric vans have already been produced. The top seller among electric vans is the eVito, followed by the eSprinter and EQV. Since 2010, Mercedes-Benz Vans has built up extensive expertise in the production of eVans, particularly with regard to flexible production on a single line. The eVito, EQV and eSprinter run off the same production line as their combustion engine counterparts. This offers the advantage that production can be adjusted very precisely to actual market requirements and no additional production lines had to be set up. With the next generation of the eSprinter, Mercedes-Benz Vans is consistently implementing its strategy and underlining its leadership claim 'Lead in Electric Drive'. And: The course has been set for a fully electric future. By the end of the decade, the star brand will be ready to go all-electric wherever market conditions allow. That means: From the middle of the decade, all newly developed vans will be exclusively electric. They are based on the fundamentally new, modular and purely electric vehicle architecture VAN.EA
