The New Ford Mustang - More Extensive Safety Features, Advanced Technologies

Quelle: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

The seventh-generation Mustang enters with Ford's latest evolution of driver-assistance systems, which already distinguish the all-electric Mustang Mach-E. These include, for example, the traffic sign recognition system, intelligent adaptive cruise control with stop &go functionality, lane center assist, avoidance assist and reverse brake assist. Another interesting feature is "Active Pothole Mitigation" in combination with the MagneRide suspension. This function continuously monitors steering as well as braking behavior in addition to chassis reactions and body movements in order to adjust the suspension settings accordingly. Theft monitoring - a FordPass feature that provides 24-hour service in the event of a stolen vehicle - is also new to the Mustang lineup. Ford Mustang owners can also connect with their sports car in other ways through the FordPass app. For example, to remotely start the car or turn off the engine (in combination with the automatic transmission), lock or unlock the doors, set a go time in the morning, find out the current location of the vehicle, or access important vehicle information. In addition to the oil level and tank range, this also includes the maintenance history.
