Finest classical music opened the evening, as numerous guests from art, culture, and society gathered - a dignified setting for an extraordinary individual. And for those who thought there could be no further enhancement, they were proven wrong: Lois Manzl & Co. traveled all the way from distant Kitzbühel - with an alphorn! They were certainly surprised at the House of Artists 😄 A standing ovation of over a minute showed how deep the appreciation for Paul Hertel's life's work goes. 'I see this as a great honor and a mission to continue working for the musical art,' said Hertel in his moving acceptance speech.
