New Shop Closing Law: Special Openings in Nuremberg

The Nuremberg City Council has set the dates for open Sundays and long shopping nights. In 2026, two open Sundays will remain in the city center – on March 22 for the Easter market and on September 27 for the autumn market and old town festival. In addition, with the new shop closing law in Bavaria, stores will be allowed to stay open longer on up to eight evenings a year.
