Business operations to cease at the end of October: Long Night of Sciences facing closure

The Nuremberg Kulturidee GmbH is expected to cease its business operations at the end of October. The company has been organizing events in the metropolitan region since 2002, including the Long Night of Sciences. The management cites high financial risks, a challenging economic environment, and increasing demands on the major event as reasons. The small business can no longer afford the pre-financing in the higher six-figure range. The participating universities will now examine whether the Long Night of Sciences can be continued by other sponsors.
