From mid-July, the cabinet wants to pass a law that quietly regulates a pretty big deal: Company doctors should have easier access to your complete patient record. Not because you agreed, but because you didn't check a box that hardly anyone knows. The counterargument comes as always immediately: Confidentiality. True, it still applies. But confidentiality does not protect against something being retold. Not against it being known. Knowledge cannot be put back into the record. If your fixed-term contract is not extended, you will never know if your record played a role. Discrimination without evidence leaves no fingerprints.
