The 36th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade kicked off in Manhattan, New York on October 17. Participants in the early Halloween celebration dressed dogs up in everything from a mobile portrait to a parody of the couple who scaled the Empire State Building. The organizers partner with animal rescue organizations and spotlighted this month's adoptable dogs.
