Tesla slams into police car at closed crash scene, driver blames Full Self-Driving

A 22-year-old Tesla driver plowed into a California Highway Patrol cruiser at a closed-off crash scene in Fairfield, California, on October 13. The driver told officers he had fallen asleep and claimed the car was running in Full Self-Driving mode at the time. Two officers inside the cruiser were injured but are recovering.
